Presume many will be waiting until the 5th to avail of the double points for making an order on Brick Friday. Although annoying to wait the extra couple of days to order these.

I placed my post X-mas order too early. I found about these the day after I placed a lager Star Wars order. Guess I'll just have to buy more. :)

As long as you look at the LEGO site today, any set that isn't available until tomorrow states "Coming Soon on 1 Jan 2015". Tomorrow you are on your own to figure out which are truly new...

3 different promotional sets available for making a single order? That's as good a deal for the freebies as I've ever seen...just make sure you order $75 worth of sets, with at least one Friends and one Star Wars set in the mix, and all 3 are yours...

It's a little early but I just went to shop.com and noticed that they are already honoring the 3 promo sets. I only noticed because I had the Pet Shop in the shopping cart from a few days back and noticed that the Flower Cart was in there too. It was a great deal to get the flower cart, Star Wars AT-DP and the MINI Golf Polybag for things that I was going to buy anyway. Plus I got to use my LEGO gift card.

Heading to my Lego store in the morning! Can't wait! This will be my Christmas present! :-)

Well it's 9am New Year's Day in Australia, and the status of the Detective Office and the Slave 1 has changed from "Coming Soon on 1 Jan 2015" to "Coming soon".

I wonder if that means we have to wait until 12.01am US time??? Anyone know?

ALSO...interestingly, the Birds LEGO Ideas set is not listed on the Australian site (yet it is on the US site).

They already had the Slave 1 in Nashville at the Lego store in Opry Mills Mall. I saw it on Monday.

I picked up the Detectives Office today at the King of Prussia Lego store. They were not honoring the promos however. You'd think they would.

Any news on when the sets will be released in the UK?

Good thing I didn't buy the anakin JSF and the hailfire droid yet. Add the extra Death Star troopers I never got and a micro fighters tie interceptor (and of course a couple of this years Stormtrooper pack) and I'll get both the flower cart and the AT-DP poly bag.

How long is the promo? All month?

Well, it's past midnight (Happy New Year, everyone!) on the U.S. East Coast, but the "Coming Soon on 1 Jan 2015" sets haven't become available yet. I stayed (relatively) sober for this?

Why is it Lego has no problem taking a sale down at exactly 11:59 pm eastern, but they can't make these items available on time? The January 1st promo items are adding to the cart, where's the option to add the rest of the January 1st items?

It's 2015 in half of the U.S. now. How long must we wait for the January 1st items?

I was planning to buy Slave 1 today, but it's still not available. I checked the US store as well and most of the sets there still say "Coming Soon" too. Disappointing...

Almost 2 a.m. here in Utah and they are still unavailable. With how fast popular LEGO sets have sold out lately, I'm a little reluctant to go to bed and check back in the morning.

To keep the updates coming...812pm Jan 1st and no nothing here. No Detective Office, no Slave I, no new Star Wars or Super Heroes, no Birds, no polybag extras...and as someone else pointed out, a $50 increase on the Tumbler?!?!? WTF is that!!! So glad I got it 3wks ago!!!

Same here in Germany: Detectives Office and Slave 1 are not available to add to shopping cart. They are advertised, all along with Minifigures Series 13, which isn't listed at all! And no sign of the SW Polybag Promotion! It's a very disappointing performance by lego.

Pretty sure their is an update planned for sometime today, yet it hasn't been updated properly so we get the images but not the actual sets or visa versa.

amazon.com has the new TLM sets, just purchased them; but no new SW sets that I saw

None of the new sets available in Europe. And from the Sales and Deals about two third is not available or sold out. From the new sets listed (and not available) many pictures are missing. TLG: you may be the top toys seller in the world, your website truly s***s!

They updated the main page to show the offers, including the slave I with a buy now button - but you can't !! As of 8am eastern time - kind of adds to the suspense doesn't it??

USA, east coast here. Still unable to purchase the Detective's Office or Birds sets. This is crazy.

Nearly 9 a.m. EST here... Lego site has been updated and the new free gift offers have been removed. The home page sliders have changed back to the same one from yesterday (where earlier they showed the Frozen set and some of the free incentives). All of the new sets still say "Coming Soon." This is crazy as most of the new sets (except the Frozen Ice Castle) have been available at my Target for at least a week.

Well, its a good thing I didn't stay up until midnight! These items should have gone live 9 hours ago! As was mentioned before, 'Coming January 1st' has now been changed to 'Coming Soon'. What is that supposed to mean? I was all prepared to purchase birds, but I guess I'll have to wait.

I think LEGO needs to invest there profits in some new servers, or a least a program that can make sets live at the right time!

I noticed the home page reverted back to the previous as well - somebody is having fun with the AFOL community :) After all, what 9 year old is sitting at the computer monitor refreshing the lego.com home page every five minutes?

Having been up since the sale started I can confirm that these sets were never in-stock to begin with. They went on sale despite being completely out-of-stock and unable to buy.

Yep; that's very disappointing. I guess Amazon will be getting my business instead... Probably what happened is that shipping to retailers ate up all the stock and now there's none left for online purchases.

I still put the order through; they will probably update that "out of stock" message by the end of the day. Whew. Now I can go back to sleep.

Now normally I'd make fun of everyone here for needing to order a set at exactly midnight for no reason. However it's stupid on LEGO's part to go from "Jan 1" to "OOS", if the sets aren't ready then they should have launched in a few more weeks.

Does anyone know if the new Star Wars sets are available in the brand stores - I was planning a trip to Cardiff tomorrow but will give it a miss if the new sets aren't there.

Placed my order, too. The Star Wars Microfighters, The lego movie double Decker and The Sinestro set. Didn't this happen recently with the website? I seem to recall the items were shipped rather quickly and it could be a bug with the site?

I believe this happened with the Exo-Suit as well. And later in the morning it was in stock.

Exo-suit was a bit different. It was available after midnight(when I ordered mine and the research institute ). Think the status changed when they were changing the limit to one per order that morning. I don't think the new sets were ever available today.

I want to get the 75060 in the Sherway Gardens LEGO store. has any Canadians seen them before January 1st? I was going to go to buy it on the 2nd. help, please.

I called my local Lego store and they said they had Slave I in stock, had plenty of them, but suggested I get there before the end of the day. Bad news: I'm sick and can't make the trip down there. Good news: my wife is going to a family function, taking her right by the mall where the Lego store is! Better news: I don't have to go to the family function!!!!

Was able to get the Slave1 and a few SW sets (purchased most from WM when they were posted in error). I hope the out of stock status is just a glitch as well. But at least I got the freebies too!

About an hour later, my order status is "in warehouse" - could be a positive thing!

My two local ToysRUs stores had many of the new 2015 sets shown in the January Lego mail catalog in stock earlier this week. I picked up Lincoln Memorial on Dec. 30, and a couple of the Series 2 MicroFighters on Dec. 31 (all at suggested retail prices). That being said, the stores are still busy with post-holiday shoppers so the inventory seems to be changing quickly.

Also I placed a $75+ order on shop @Lego on Dec. 30 and got the Flower Cart.

LEGO.com really dropped the ball this time....

I haven't placed an order yet but tested Lego's North American online store. With the Ideas Birds, Friends vet clinic, and the T-16 in my basket, all three polybags were automatically added to my cart. So, there doesn't seem to be much of a required minimum order amount for the Friends and Star Wars promotions. I had feared there would be a $50 minimum for one or both of those themes.

Sadly, all 2015 sets are still listed as out of stock and shipping in 30 days.

On top of not selling the stuff, they had advertised, the german Lego shop discounted numerous sets, which were already sold out for WEEKS. They take us for fools, I think.

Sigh , I'll just order anyway and hope it's a site glitch.. Or not. I could just hit my local toy stores and forget about getting the freebies. Really only want the AT-DP anyway.
Maybe they shipped to retailers to set them up for a while but then the retailers let it slip earlier than they were supposed to , and as such Lego had to send them MORE sets and now they don't have enough for LEGO.com? Who knows. In any case , at least it wasn't a minifig I really wanted...
Somebody needs to fix this or send out official messages that they don't have enough stock.
I did notice they have 4 or so of the basic creator sets are available. Maybe that's the easiest stuff to produce Becuase the parts aren't as unique.

I've placed my order for several Jan. 1st sets including the Detective's office, tow truck pick up, a couple swamp sets, and the series 13 cmf. Regardless of what the site says, all went through fine and on the order status page says "in warehouse" except the series 13 minifigs. I got an email saying they would ship when available. So most everything looks to be fine once ordered.

Just got back from TLS at Downtown Disney. Definitely a run on the Lego Ideas Birds collection. Folks were buying 2 or 3 at a time. Plenty of the Detective's Office around.

Ended up purchasing Slave I and Elsa's Castle and got the Flower Cart, AT-DP Poly, Friends Poly (they added it in with the Castle, I didn't complain), and the Lego Store Minifig (calendar promo) for free. That was $17.96 USD in free stuff... SCORE!

Man it's times like these I wish the closest Lego store to me wasn't 3 hours away.

Star Wars products finally available to order from Irish store, presume most of Europe also - all apart from the Slave 1. Got the free Flower Cart also.

In fairness to LEGO, it's within 30 days. Today is a fake holiday so things won't ship. I had a TMNT keychain that was supposed to come in March come in a few weeks back.

Just left the King of Prussia store in PA to pick up the Slave 1 and had to pick between the AT-DP and the baloon cart, they wouldn't let anyone get both.

Ordered Slave 1 and the detective agency just now (20:30 UK time) with no problems. Birds set still coming soon...

There was major pillaging going on by mostly AFOLs and some teen FOLs at the Lake Buena Vista Lego store this morning right when they opened at 9:30 am. The staff was trying to stock the new sets but they were disappearing as fast as they could open the shipping boxes. Birds were literally flying off the shelf along with Detective Agency and Slave I from what I observed around me. Sonic_Raptor was probably there when I was.

@ssgdave - Sure was. Learned my lesson from last year. Got there 15min late and didn't get a darn thing. This time, I got there right at 0930. The horrible parking situation probably helped reduce some of the initially crowd. As soon as I got in there I found the store manager to acquire me a Slave I, felt through the Series 13 minis for a Unicorn (to complete the collection), snagged the Frozen Castle when they finally got to putting them out, and then beat it out of there.

Folks in line beside me were grabbing "Birds" to put on EBAY today. I could only shake my head. When they asked why I didn't have one, I said "so that someone else could enjoy it." Got some smart remark about "supply and demand" which I shrugged off. I got what I wanted, kids got what they wanted, and I went home with a happy family. Done.

@Apollo53 - Interesting that they wouldn't let you get both. That is clearly not what the advertising says. I think it is also the person behind the counter... the gentleman that I had was more than willing to find more freebies to put in my bag.

Supply and demand exist and in all for capitalism, but I blame the idiots who overpay to allow that to happen to begin with.

When I got there, I saw several people walking through the mall with one in a bag, and I got one of the last three they had. They didn't have any Slave I's out at all, and from the look of the mall itself, all of the customers were going to LEGO, and LEGO alone.
